Abstract

In order to support the learning process in functional training of verificator, the development of learning media is needed as an alternative to hands-on learning experience. Many participants in the functional training of verificator do not have a Legal Metrology Unit (UML) yet, so they do not have access to exercise on the actual non-automatic weighing instrument after participating in the training. This becomes an obstacle because training participants are required to take a competency exam after graduating from functional training. The existence of this educational learning media is expected to increase the ability to carry out the standard operation procedure in electronic non-automatic weighing instrument verification in preparation for competency exams. The methodology used in this study refers to Luther's reference to the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC). The application used to make this learning media is construct 2. The application of this learning media is expected to facilitate training participants after attending functional training of verificator. Training participants who do not have access to non-automatic weighing instrument at their place of origin can still train to prepare for competency exams. For further research, this learning media is expected to be developed again in terms of animation, design, features, and improvements from 2 dimensions to 3 dimensions so that training participants get better experience simulations.
