The dependent variable in this research is the international trade variable and the independent variables include government debt, central government spending, government capital spending and population growth. The data in this research includes time series data in the form of percentages from 1971-2020 which were analyzed using the VAR (Vector Autoregressive) method. The results of this research are that all variables have a significant and positive response to international trade shocks. Based on the variance decomposition test, all variables contribute to international trade and have an increasing contribution until the final period. This is shown by the S.E value in period one of 12,242 and increasing in period ten of 27,282. Then the state debt variable has a high contribution to international trade and is continued with the government spending, capital learning and population growth variables.
Annastia Abqiatul Fadlilah Mahrus Lutfi Adi Kurniawan Copyright (c) 2024 Cendekia Niaga https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-07-02 2024-07-02 8 1 1 12 10.52391/jcn.v8i1.875 Analysis of Global Value Chains: Indonesia’s Pearl Industry Competitiveness https://jurnal.kemendag.go.id/JCN/article/view/896
As global value chain practices continue to spread worldwide, concerns about competitiveness emerge within prevailing policies, emphasizing long-term productivity and attractiveness. Indonesian South Sea pearls embody both economic potential and challenges affecting their bargaining power. This research aims to present a comprehensive overview of the Indonesian government's efforts to enhance south sea pearl’s competitiveness. Utilizing global value chain analysis, it explores the policies implemented by both central and local authorities to enhance the pearl industry's competitiveness, investigating their impact on company governance and upgrading practices through a focused case study on NMJ LLC. Results underscore substantial strides where the central government establishes legal foundations and enhances South Sea pearls quality. While the local government focuses on improving productivity in both downstream and upstream sectors. Additionally, both levels of government facilitate platforms for global market access. Moreover, the NMJ LLC case study analysis underscores policy implementation’s influence on its governance and upgrading, classified as retail buyer-driven value chain governance and product upgrading, respectively.
Ufairah Sari Mutiara Aisyah Copyright (c) 2024 Cendekia Niaga https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-07-02 2024-07-02 8 1 23 39 10.52391/jcn.v8i1.896 Urgensi Penegakan Hukum Dan Penguatan Peran Pengawasan KPPU Di Era Industri Digital https://jurnal.kemendag.go.id/JCN/article/view/899

The advent of the digital age brought great change in many aspects including the field of commerce. In the initial imposition, Indonesia was subject to 3.3% - 22.4% ADD, whereas in 2021 Indonesia was subject to 15.3% - 28.3% ADD. Until 2024, it is recorded that Australia has extended the imposition of ADD on CFG originating from Indonesia twice, namely in 2016 and 2021, where the aforesaid imposition will due in 2026. This study intends to elaborate a review of Australia's imposition of CFG ADD in terms of the export performance of Indonesia. This study utilizes a descriptive analysis method based on research sourced from the Australian Anti-Dumping Commission report and related literatures. According to the analysis, it was concluded that Australia's imposition of ADD on CFG products from Indonesia diminishes Indonesia’s CFG export to the Australian market, and on the contrary, there was a raise in Indonesia’s CFG exports to other countries that does not implement ADD. It is expected that the Indonesian government can collaborate optimally with exporters of goods under investigation to defend Indonesia's position during the ongoing anti-dumping investigation.
Resti Maheralia Copyright (c) 2024 Cendekia Niaga https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-07-02 2024-07-02 8 1 57 67 10.52391/jcn.v8i1.900 Pemodelan Kapabilitas UMKM Dalam Perdagangan Hijau Berkelas Dunia : Studi Kasus UMKM Provinsi DI Yogyakarta https://jurnal.kemendag.go.id/JCN/article/view/907
Global warming and climate change demand sustainable responses from the business sector, including SMEs, which are now the largest contributors to emissions. SMEs in Indonesia, especially in the DI Yogyakarta Province, have the potential to become key players in world-class green trade. This study aims to investigate the influence of transportation infrastructure, logistics capabilities, and Green Information System on the capabilities of SMEs in the DI Yogyakarta Province in world-class green trade. The study adopts a quantitative approach based on a survey of 225 SME owners in the DI Yogyakarta Province. Purposive sampling technique was selected and analyzed using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). The results show that transportation infrastructure substantially influences the ability of SMEs' green supply chains and global logistics. The logistics capabilities of SMEs in Yogyakarta have a positive impact on the capabilities of green supply chains. The implementation of GIS has also been shown to enhance the capabilities of green supply chains and international logistics by providing visibility, transparency, and efficiency in business operations. The influence of supply chain capabilities was found to be significantly positive on international logistics. The research findings affirm the crucial role of green supply chain capabilities and international logistics in enhancing the capabilities of SMEs to enter international trade.
Muhammad Alfarizi Rini Kurnia Sari Copyright (c) 2024 Cendekia Niaga https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-07-02 2024-07-02 8 1 68 86 10.52391/jcn.v8i1.907 Kinerja Sistem Resi Gudang Dalam Mendukung Ekspor Komoditas Kopi https://jurnal.kemendag.go.id/JCN/article/view/908
Sistem Resi Gudang Kopi (SRG Kopi) adalah instrumen perdagangan bagi petani guna memperoleh harga jual yang baik dan pembiayaan produksi.
